The University of Michigan and National Academy of Engineering are organizing a symposium on “Engineering to Improve the Operations of Manufacturing Enterprises” to be held at the University of Michigan, May 13, 2010. This Symposium is intended to explore and promote the impact of modeling and simulation methods and approaches on a variety of manufacturing operations: supply, production, logistics, sustainability, use of human resources, etc.
