Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in Healthcare Operations Management. This position is part of our research team with the Emergency Multidisciplinary Research Unit at Montreal Jewish General Hospital, which is currently being funded by FRSQ - a provincial granting agency.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Operations Research / Operations Management or a relevant discipline and possess a record that demonstrates their research potential. Doctoral students close to completing their Ph.D. are also encouraged to apply. The project involves the development of a simulation-based optimization framework for the emergency department. Therefore, candidates must have strong simulation modeling, analysis and computational skills. Background in healthcare management is an asset.
Commencing April 2008 this renewable position is for one year. There is some flexibility with regards to the starting date to accommodate the selected candidate. Applications will be evaluated for an interview immediately upon receipt.
