The Department of Finance, Information Systems and Management Science at the Sobey School of Business, Saint Mary’s University invites applications for one tenure-track position in Management Science at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate must have a PhD, or be near completion, in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Management Science or related field completed or near completion. Teaching experience in operations management, quantitative methods, and statistics is desirable. Strong teaching effectiveness, commitment to education innovation, well-developed communication skills, inter-disciplinary business experience, and a collaborative working style are assets. The position will begin July 1, 2008, subject to final budgetary approval.

The Sobey School of Business at Saint Mary’s University is a balanced research/teaching institution. It has the largest commerce program in the Atlantic Provinces and offers AACSB accredited degrees at the undergraduate, masters and PhD levels.
