The Systems Division of the Leeds School of Business invites applications for a two-year associate research professor position to begin in the fall semester of 2008. The Systems Division is an interdisciplinary group of faculty with research interests in operations management, operations research, and information systems. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or be Ph.D. candidates close to completion in Operations Research, Operations Management, Management Science, or related discipline. Candidates should have a strong technical background and research interest in optimization. Preference will be given to candidates whose research is applied to optimization problems in the area of digital technologies and telecommunications. Teaching responsibilities include two courses at the undergraduate or MBA level per academic year. We will begin reviewing application immediately and will continue until filled. Systems Division. The Leeds School of Business Systems Division is currently comprised of seven tenure/tenure-track faculty members and four senior instructors.
