Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a University Lectureship in Human Resource Management. The successful candidate will take up the appointment as soon as possible.
The field is broadly defined but the successful candidate is likely to have interests in innovation and manufacturing and will be expected to provide teaching and co-ordination across the undergraduate and graduate programmes in the Department of Engineering in partnership with the Judge Business School. Teaching responsibilities will include contributing to undergraduate courses, supervising final-year projects and supervising graduate students. Enthusiasm for a broad and integrating approach to Human Resource Management in the context of practice will be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have, or be expected to develop, a record of world-class research commensurate with the Department's international reputation. Collaboration with the Division's established Research Centres in Strategy and Performance, Technology Management, International Manufacturing and Economics and Policy will be strongly encouraged.
Appointment will be to the retiring age subject to satisfactory performance of a five year probationary period. The current pensionable scale of stipends is in the range of 33,779-42,791 per annum.
