FACULTY POSITIONS

IN

OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT and INFORMATION SYSTEMS

We are looking for candidates at all levels who are interested in conducting scholarly research in Operations Management or in the Economics of Information Systems, and in teaching Ph.D. and M.B.A. courses in either one or both areas. Senior candidates are expected to have excellent leadership and well established research credentials as evidenced by scientific publications in top refereed journals along with a remarkable and creative teaching record, while junior candidates have to show promise of developing both.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Operations Management, Management Science, Operations Research, Information Systems or a related field. They should also have outstanding research credentials in these areas and a successful teaching record. Special attention will be given to candidates with some professional practical experience, strong quantitative or technical background with graduate level training in economics or finance.

The Simon School is one of the nation's top Business Schools and has full-time M.B.A. and Ph.D. programs, and Executive M.B.A. programs in Rochester and in Bern, Switzerland. The Operations Management and Information Systems faculty at the Simon School is committed to excellence in research and teaching and is considered to be one of the top research groups in the nation. Our focus is on the use of quantitative and economic models for addressing significant operational or technology management problems.
