Description: We are seeking a candidate who will fully contribute to the intellectual activities of the department and provide high quality teaching in Operations Management at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Research interests can be in areas such as supply chain management, sustainable operations, reverse logistics, operations planning and control, product development, and service operations. The candidate should have a strong background in analytic modeling and optimization techniques as well as an interest and ability to pursue industrial interaction for teaching and research.
In addition to its emphasis on research, the Lundquist College targets the development of certain skills in our students and faculty, especially the ability to pursue cross-disciplinary initiatives. Therefore, the ability to engage with one or more interdisciplinary signature centers in the college will be a plus. The successful candidate will have the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a completed or nearly completed Ph.D. degree in Operations Management and demonstrated potential for teaching and research excellence. An added ability to engage with MIS and statistics areas of the department in teaching or research will also be a plus.
