The Operations and Information Management [OPIM] area of the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University, invite applications for three tenure-track positions to begin in Fall 2009. Appointment at Assistant Professor level preferred. One position will be in the Statistics area, and two in Operations Management. Preference will be given to individuals with research interests in one of the following areas: (1) Operations Management (2) Supply Chain Management (3) Risk Management (4) Quantitative Models applied to Managerial Issues, and (5) Business and Economic Statistics. Teaching responsibilities will involve core and elective courses in Operations Management, Statistics and/or Management Science at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will have demonstrated outstanding Research and Teaching potential.
Candidates should hold a doctorate in Management Science, Operations Management, Statistics, or a closely related area, or expect to receive their doctorate by August 2009.
