The Department of Logistics, Operations, and Management Information Systems in the College of Business at Iowa State University is inviting applications for a tenured/tenure-track faculty position in supply chain management starting in August 2009. Appointments at all levels (assistant, associate, and full professor) will be considered. Applicants must have (or be near completion of) a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in logistics, operations management, supply chain management, or a closely related field, have a scholarly research record as evidenced by publication (or progress toward publications) in top-tier journals, and have authorization to work in the United States. For consideration to Associate or Full professor, applicants must meet, in addition to the above qualifications, the university standards for appointment to the rank. The preferred candidate will have full-time work experience with responsibilities related to logistics, operations management, or supply chain management, and an ability to teach a variety of both logistics and operations management classes at undergraduate, Master’s and Ph.D. levels. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
