Texas A&M University Position in Supply Chain Management

The Information and Operations Management Department in the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University is seeking to fill both a tenure track and a clinical position in supply chain management (SCM). We are particularly interested in experienced candidates with an active research program and documented teaching effectiveness. The preferred candidates will have a scholarly interest in the interface of SCM and information technology and the ability to interface with industry. The potential to teach at the MBA, EMBA and PhD level is desirable. While teaching responsibility may include a variety of SCM topics, current staffing needs are greater in the areas of global SCM, enterprise resource planning, SCM analytics and decision support systems for SCM. The Department houses over thirty-two faculty members in SCM, decision sciences and information systems. The faculty is active in research and prominent in professional associations serving in editorial and leadership positions for national organizations. The department also includes the Center for Management of Information, which is sponsored by over 20 major corporations.
