The POMS College of Supply Chain Management Service Award was created to recognize individuals whose distinguished service to the College has helped to advance significantly its goals and objectives.
The award is given annually to an individual, or a group, based on a vote of the current officers of the college. Candidates for the award are solicited from the College’s members but final selection is based solely on a majority vote of the College’s officers. Current officers are ineligible for the award during their terms of office. The award is accompanied by a plaque and honorarium. If multiple people are given the award in the same year, the honorarium is split evenly between them.
Nominations for the 2009 POMS College of Supply Chain Management Service Award should include a one paragraph statement of why the person (or persons) are deserving of this honor. Nominations can be emailed to Mark Ferguson at mark.ferguson@mgt.gatech.edu and are due by Friday, February 27th.
