The C. T. Bauer College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position beginning Fall 2009. Qualified candidates must have an earned Ph.D. in Business Administration or closely related field by August 2009, with a major in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management and have both strong research and teaching potential. Preference will be given to candidates who have begun to establish a record of research and quality teaching as evidenced in evaluations. The selected candidate will be expected to (a) teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Supply Chain Management, and (b) conduct research to obtain publications in top-tier and highly regarded journals, to further the educational goals of the College. The College offers generous research support and a three-course annual teaching load to starting Assistant Professors.

The Department of Decision and Information Sciences within the Bauer College of Business is composed of supply chain management, information systems, and statistics and operations research faculty members, three of whom hold endowed positions. The Department is home to two research centers: The Information Systems Research Center and the Supply Chain Research Center. Melcher Hall and soon to be completed Cemo Hall are home of the Bauer College. These halls provide an abundance of large and small tiered classrooms each of which is equipped with multimedia command consoles networked to the College’s computer systems.
