The Chair of Logistics seeks a Post-Doctoral Researcher (m/f) preferably for post-doctoral lecture qualification (Full-time according to TV-L).
About us
Our research aims to find answers which are scientifically reliable to essential management problems in the fields of logistics and supply chain management. We focus on practice-oriented research, through our association with the Fraunhofer-Center for Applied Research on Technologies for the Logistics Service Industries (ATL). We present regularly at national and international conferences and publish in internationally recognized academic journals. Our team fosters intensive information exchange with researchers from around the globe (Wharton, Copenhagen Business School).
Your Tasks
You will lead research projects (e. g. in the health care sector) and be an integral member of our team which is currently establishing the new Center for Applied Service Sciences (CASS). You will focus on developing research results and are expected to present and publish your findings at international conferences and in relevant academic journals. Furthermore, you will be involved in teaching and the administration of our chair. Through enhancement of our master’s program, our chair provides a strong profile of management education in the field of logistics.
Profile of Qualifications
You have graduated with excellent academic results, demonstrated outstanding doctoral qualification and you have already published academic papers that meet international standards. You are interested in solving business-related problems which should be shown by relevant work experience or internships. You have spent time abroad on a job assignment or studying at a foreign university and hence feel very comfortable to present or publish in English.
