The Frank G. Zarb School of Business is currently inviting applications for a tenure track position in Operations Management for the Fall 2009 Semester or until it is filled at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, based on the qualification. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Operations Management from an AACSB-accredited program. Advanced ABDs will be considered. Potential candidates must be capable teaching courses offered by the department in the areas of Operations Management and Supply Chain Management. The Department is currently proposing a new Supply Chain Management major and hence there will be a requirement to develop and teach a variety of courses in these areas. Teaching load is 18 semester hours per annum. Summer and winter semester teaching opportunities are available. Summer research support is also available. Although teaching is the University's primary mission, research is very highly valued. Members of the Department's faculty have published in AMJ, SMJ, JOM, JME, Org. Science, Business Horizons, and Decision Sciences.

Hofstra University is a private, non-sectarian, comprehensive university offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Total enrollment is approximately 12,000 students. The Frank G. Zarb School of Business is accredited by the AACSB and offers BBA, MBA, EMBA, and a variety of specialized MS programs.
