The DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University invites applications and nominations for a tenure track position in the Operations Management Area, at the Assistant Professor level, beginning July 1, 2009.
Candidates should have or be close to completing a Ph.D. in Operations Management or other closely related discipline, demonstrate a strong competence in research and teaching, and be committed to high-quality research that is of managerial relevance. Candidates should have research interests in areas such as supply chain management, service operations, quality management, transportation management, or revenue management. Candidates should have strong theoretical and quantitative interests and abilities, and a thorough knowledge of Operations Management theory and practice. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervision of Ph.D. students, and pursuit of research funding.
