Faculty Position, Information Systems and Operations Management Area

George Mason University (GMU), School of Management, Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) Area invites applications for a tenure‐line position beginning in the fall of 2010 at the assistant/associate professor level, pending approval of funding. Successful applicants will have a Ph.D. in operations management (OM), or related fields, with a strong record of, or potential for, research and the ability to contribute to our graduate and undergraduate programs. Our major need is for an individual who has a strong academic and/or professional background in project management and the ability and interest to teach project management courses at graduate and undergraduate levels. Added interest in technology management and/or globalization issues will be considered a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with the potential to swiftly take on graduate courses and/or having cross‐disciplinary interests spanning OM and management information systems. Salary will be commensurate with experience and rank.

Located just outside the nation's capital in Northern Virginia, the School of Management is fully accredited by AACSB-International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) and offers various undergraduate degrees including Information Systems and Operations Management; and MBA, Executive MBA (EMBA) and M.S. in Technology Management at the graduate level.
