Istanbul Şehir University (ŞEHİR) invites faculty applications for full-time positions in its College of Engineering and Natural Sciences (CENS). We are looking for faculty in the general areas of Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Industrial Engineering / Operations Research, and Mathematics.

Positions are available for professors at all ranks, beginning in September 2010 or earlier. Junior candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. degree conferred by September 2010. All candidates must have excellent command of English and strong commitment to teaching and research.

Istanbul Şehir University is a newly founded, private institution of the Istanbul based Foundation for Sciences and Arts which has a quarter-century of experience in education and research. ŞEHİR aims to be an elite research university in the whole region. The medium of instruction is English. Candidates from all nations are encouraged to apply.

The campus area is located on the shores of the Marmara Sea, overlooking Princess Islands. To be constructed at the heart of Istanbul, it will be one of the most beautiful campuses in the region.
