The Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee invites applications for a full-time, faculty position at the Associate/Full Professor rank beginning in August, 2010. The incumbent will be expected to play a key role in the leadership of the POM Area by mentoring PhD students and participating in building a strong OM faculty group and curriculum. Other normal expectations of the faculty include research, teaching, and serving on faculty committees. Teaching responsibilities may include graduate courses in Operations Management, including Supply Chain Management, Process Management, Six Sigma, International Operations and Operations Strategy. Qualified candidates must hold a PhD in Business Administration or a closely related discipline, have a strong publication record and excellent teaching record. Preference will be given to applicants with publications in premier journals as well as a strong current working research pipeline and a demonstrated record of exemplary teaching performance as evidenced in evaluations and in specific, teaching of POM specific and related courses.
