Yeshiva University's Sy Syms School of Business invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the assistant professor or associate professor level in Operations Management. More senior candidates are expected to have excellent leadership and research credentials as well as evidence of a strong and creative teaching record, while junior candidates have to show promise of developing both. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Operations Management, Management Science, Operations Research, or a related field. Special attention will be given to candidates with research interests in service operations. Candidates are expected to teach undergraduate courses in Operations Management and/or Statistics.
The Sy Syms School of Business offers business programs for undergraduate men and women. It was established in 1987 through major gifts by Sy Syms, a member of Yeshiva University’s Board of Trustees, and other business leaders. The school offers the unique combination of a complete business curriculum along with Yeshiva University’s Jewish studies component. The Sy Syms School of Business is in the process of being reviewed by the AACSB for accreditation.
