We are currently interviewing candidates for an Operations Manager position in Necedah, WI
General Responsibilities and Functions:
Under the direction of and reporting to the Lead Center Manager , directs, supervises, and coordinates manufacturing and maintenance operations for all production departments across all shifts through general guidance of subordinates (Group Leaders) to achieve the manufacturing objectives of the departments. This individual will also maintain participative union relations.

Coordinates With:
- Scheduling, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Accounting, Human Resources, Growtth, Tooling.
Job Duties:
- Creates production goals for Group Leaders and production crews to support Policy Deployment and business directives.
- Creates and monitors production budgets and manufacturing headcounts with assistance from the Accounting and Human Resource departments.
- Responsible for maintaining and communication of overall production procedures and the support of the TS16949 system through the direction of Business Unit Managers and production crews.
- Participates in and directs Group Leaders in employee relations procedures as requested by Human Resources and as stated contractually.
- Either directly or through subordinates maintains and trains an efficient workforce in accordance with skill requirements, work levels and schedules, man hour requirements, and training programs.
- Support GROWTTH efforts and drive continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain ISO-14001 certification (environmental).
- Maintains close relationship with Scheduling Department to assure scheduled work flow, uninterrupted production, and proper utilization of manpower.
- Administers labor contract provisions and Division policies, avoids breach of contract, and maintains employer/employee relationship on the highest possible plane.
- Participates in administrative and technical programs such as Growtth, safety and housekeeping, and plant work rules.
- Manages Maintenance to effectively establish PM schedules, equipment repairs/upgrades, installation of equipment and production layout changes to minimize impacts to customer schedules and production crews.
- Conducts employee performance reviews and recommends wage adjustments and change of status.
- Understand and implement the health and safety policy and to integrate health and safety considerations into daily work activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

Typically Requires:
- Required to have at least 10 years of manufacturing experience with 3 –5 years at a manager or supervisor level.
- Minimum of an associate degree or certificate in business management. Prefer Bachelors degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Supporting experience with a TS16949 or ISO Quality system is also required.
- Desired to have experience or training in Production and Inventory Control, Lean Systems, TPM, and employee development.
- Strong interpersonal skills; strong decision making skills; demonstrated participative management style.
