The Operational Sciences Department at the Air Force Institute of Technology invites nominations and applications for a Logistics and Supply Chain Management position available in September 2010. Our School is in the company of a very small number of institutions. We are a graduate-only research-based institution providing our students with a personalized educational experience. Our student to faculty ratio is less than 6:1. Our typical student is a motivated military officer preparing to design and implement operationally relevant solutions to problems impacting the defense of our Nation. This position requires a doctorate from a leading university with an emphasis in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline, and accomplishments worthy of advanced academic rank. Candidates are sought with a strong quantitative background with significant expertise in reliability, forecasting, or inventory management and a demonstrated commitment to quality teaching and independent research.
