Santa Clara University (SCU) is a private Jesuit university located in the heart of Silicon Valley. SCU's Leavey School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position in Operations Management within the Department of Operations Management & Information Systems (OMIS) beginning Fall 2011. The OMIS department has a teaching presence in undergraduate, MBA, and EMBA programs. Our faculty publish in outlets such as Management Science, MSOM, OR, and POMS, and most currently hold or have held senior editorial positions at these leading journals.

We seek a candidate with research interest in operations management in service contexts, new product development, management of technological innovation, or supply chain management. The successful applicant will have a Ph.D in Operations Management or related field and possess superior communication skills and a commitment to excellence in both teaching and research. One of SCU's strategic goals is to collaborate with the Silicon Valley business community, and applicants with this capability will receive priority consideration.
