In the course of its dynamic expansion in the area of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, the Supply Chain Management Institute is seeking to appoint a faculty member as
at an associate/full professor level (5-year contract). S/he will be required to further develop and implement SMI’s research agenda in Supply Chain Management, foster industry-academic partnerships, and conduct outstanding research that will lead to publications in top international journals. The faculty member will also be expected to teach in undergraduate, graduate and executive programs of EBS. Applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:
- Academic excellence, demonstrated through a strong record of publications
- Industry experience in logistics/supply chain management
- Experience in teaching graduate and executive programs in logistics, supply chain management and related fields
- Strategic thinking and leadership skills
- Strong and convincing personality
- Outstanding communication skills
This position is available from November 2010 on and will remain vacant until filled. The selection committee will begin reviewing applications July 26, 2010.
