Assistant/Associate Professor of Operations Management
The Information Systems and Operations Management Department at University of North Carolina Wilmington, Cameron School of Business invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track position in Operations Management at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin August, 2012.
A Ph.D. in Operations Management is required or must be obtained within first academic year of employment. Candidates who have already obtained their PhD are preferred. Candidates must show promise of excellence in teaching, at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, and be able to teach in at least two of the following areas: purchasing and materials management, supply chain management, product/process design, revenue management, quality control, service operations, logistics and distribution management. A focused research agenda with strong potential for publication is expected.
