Announcing the 2024 College of Supply Chain Management Best Student Paper Competition Finalists

The POMS College of Supply Chain Management is pleased to announce four finalists for this year’s Best Student Paper Competition. The finalists will present their research at the upcoming Annual POMS Conference in Minneapolis in the following special session:

Finalists

1. Zhao Kang (Eindhoven University of Technology): Robust Spare Parts Inventory Management (joint work with Ahmadreza Marandi, Rob Basten, and Ton de Kok)

2. Zhikun Lu (Emory University): The Value of Last-mile Delivery in Online Retail (joint work with Ruomeng Cui, Tianshu Sun, and Lixia Wu)

3. Irem Nur Keskin (Duke University): Online Demand Fulfillment Problem with Initial Inventory Placement: A Regret Analysis (joint work with Alessandro Arlotto and Yehua Wei)

4. Piao Hu (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology): On the Design of Consistent and Fair Allocation Policies for Resource Pooling Systems (joint work with Guodong Lyu and Chung-Piaw Teo)

Winners of this competition will be announced in the College of Supply Chain Management business meeting (Venue: Greenway I; Time: Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 5:45–6:30pm).
